'Sensory Memory' marks the second installment on Echovolt's brand new series of mini-albums that has opened them up to more experimental fare. The first tone of those series was set by 'Messages From A Better Destiny' from the up-start Greek outfit Templeyard Studios and now Australian producer Kane Ikin is about to follow..
Kane Ikin is an experimental musician from Melbourne. Drawing from an isolated upbringing on the south coast of Western Australia, he creates music influenced by science fiction, broken synthesizers and endless horizons. Even though Kane has a solid discography behind him in the lead up to this year, 2016 will perhaps be seen as his breakthrough as he has already delivered two outstanding works in 2016 – the tense and atmospheric “Modern Pressure” LP (Type Recordings) and its more dancefloor-minded companion “Basalt Crush” EP (Latency Recordings).
Not showing any sign of slowing, Kane’s next work "Sensory Memory” mini-album will be released in the fourth quarter of 2016. Equal parts narcotic and kinetic, "Sensory Memory” is built as an exploration in the genres and sounds formative to Kane’s sound.
