LA DANZA DEL CAMALEON (RANDOM) by COMBO TEZETA

Based out of the Bay Area, Combo Tezeta plays a highly danceable blend of instrumental cumbias, chichas, and música tropical inspired by the late 60s and early 70s era of psychedelic Peru. Layering the reverb-fueled sounds of surf rock onto the foundations of Cumbia, the band's focus is to highlight the rich melodies and hypnotic rhythms birthed from the Afro-Latin diaspora. Along with its appreciation of world music and its diverse cultures, Combo Tezeta's mission is to deliver the sounds and musical echoes of the past to the present through a combination of traditional and original music.
