ENJOY DETROIT by V/A

Pre release of the vinyl format of the CD/LP, officially due for release late January, early February 2004. A compilation of mainly downtempo tracks, liscenced from Detroit's Premier Cru label, that was started in 2002 by George Katsiris. Most of the artists on this record are from Michigan, Detroit. Katsiris compiled `Enjoy Detroit' to bring together this family of musicians that he had been part of in Michigan. However as the album was being put together he met other people from Detroit, such as Jason Hogans and Kenny Flav, who contributed tracks... A version of this album was first released in 2002 as a limited edition of 1000 only. Third Ear has now licensed the cd and added extra tracks (extra tracks on vinyl too !). As most of the tracks can count as hiphop-strumentals as well, this release should be interesting for the hiphop heads as well!. Tip!
