“For the love of you, vol. 2” on Athens of the North is a really nice compilation of lovers rock jams with takes on cuts by the likes of Grover Washington Jr., Midnight Star, Meli'sa Morgan and more. The first volume was well received in our shop and this one will do the same!

Soul singer Teddy Bryant impressed us with ‘In the beginning’; a cross between Contemporary Soul, Street Soul and R&B. His voice reminds of Marvin Gaye and this album is an ode to everlasting love, paying tribute to Sade, Marvin Gaye, Prince and Quincy Jones
Finally in is the 27-track strong homemade private epic Natsu no zenbu’ by Japanese couple Ippei Matsui and Aki Tsuyuko; soothing, calming, introvert music - "centred around Aki’s minimalistic organ and piano pieces, subtly processed electronics and Ippei’s introspective moments of guitar feedback” Beautiful music and well recommended!
Pub’s ‘Single’ is a collection of tracks taken from long of out print EP's (along with a few unreleased ones) - Dense and beautiful electronic music..
Closing off is a rerelease of the Dave Hill compiled ‘Overdose of the holy ghost’ - serving all your gospel needs over two slabs of vinyl
