Description

The third all-solo outing from Nat Birchall, following on from last year’s very well received
Ancient Africa. Once again Nat plays all the instruments in this homage to the patron saint of the
tenor saxophone, John Coltrane.
Afro Trane presents a balanced programme of Coltrane songs and original compositions which focus
on the more Afro-centric aspects of the music, included are the classic Coltrane compositions
Acknowledgement from A Love Supreme, India from the Impressions album and Dahomey Dance
from Ole.
