2014 edit of 22 year old techno classic on Richie Hawtin's label.Teste's "The Wipe" should need no introduction to those well versed in Techno history. First appearing on Richie Hawtin's seminal Probe label in 1992, "The Wipe" and it's associated mixes literally took dancefloors by storm. 22 years later, and Edit Select summons this classic once again for an impeccable remix that maintains the force of the original while adding a decidedly contemporary touch. On the flip, Teste return after 21 year hiatus to team up with Edit Select himself for the immaculate "Ascend".
