Yes, there have been split label releases in the past, but have there ever been split label AND distribution releases? For the WPH side we looked towards the inevitable San Soda, who came up with two different tracks that have one thing in common: they both work like a charm on the floor. ‘Birdies That Fly’ is vintage piano house driven by a sweet vocal, very much reminding us of some old Kerri Chandler business. ‘Voor De Sfeer’ is an absolute slamming breakbeat track that is sure to bring euphoria once the key stabs kick in. Maxim Lany is the A&R of sister label Lany Recordings and he provides a strong tech house track for the Lany side of this release. Driving compressed beats, a bubbling sub bass, basically all the ingredients you need for a crowd that likes it rough and straight-forward.
