After his Platinum Pied Pipers release for Ubiquity a couple of years ago, here's the follow up album from Detroit's Waajeed. The tracks here have more of a 'darker' nature, compared to the above mentioned album, and showcase various talented artists from the Bling 47 camp. This is the second out of two six track EP's that together make up the vinyl release of the new album. As a whole, the full album will be out as a double CD. The A side starts off with Tiombe Lockharts's 'The overtaking', a heavy, guitar led track that holds the middle between a rock- and hiphop track. Furthermore the A side has two Waajeed productions; 'Make doe' and 'W.A.A.J.E.E.D'. the flip comes with a G.O.A.T. remix from the Platinum Pied Pipers collab with Jay Dee 'Act like you know'. B2 is an instrumental Dilla track called 'Garage band'; heavy, heavy beats! Last track is an instrumental cut by Waajeed himself called 'The dragon' with futuristic feel. Tip!!
