Description

After his Platinum Pied Pipers release for Ubiquity a couple of years ago, here's the follow up album from Detroit's Waajeed. The tracks here have more of a 'darker' nature, compared to the above mentioned album, and showcase various talented artists from the Bling 47 camp. This is the first out of two six track EP's that together make up the vinyl release of the new album. As a whole, the full album will be out as a double CD. This Ep starts off with 'Bombs away' by Ta'raach & Invincible; a heavy headnod track built around an upfront guitarr riff and featuring the solid flow from Invincible. The next track on the A side is Waajeed's 'Fire'. The A side is closed down by Tiombe Lockhart's 'O bloody days'. The B side starts off with 'Tron', that was once featured on Waajeed's out of primt 'BPM Instrumentals' and has been a heavily sought after cut since, to say the least. 'Place where we dwell' , the B2 track with heavy offbeat drums, sees Invincible on a hiphop/spoken word tip. Last track is Waajeed's 'Proud', again lovely beat merged with a serious dose of JB funk. Big tip!
