VELVET IN CANVAS by TIM XAVIER & CAMEA

Tim Xavier and Camea have composed a collection of tracks in their collaboration on Clink, titled Velvet on Canvas. The A side kicks off with a festive tech house version of 'You Control Myself'. The vocal, manipulated with psychedelic delay automation, is layered under Xavier’s percussion techniques and romantic atmospherics. Not to take any detours from their trackie, techno sound, the duo keeps the production driving and mixable. The flip side features two more tech house tunes. Tim and Camea manipulate a disco lyric over another driving, percussive house tune in their next piece, titled Beaded Sweat. This track captures the peak-time shuffle but maintains the essence of a desirable 10am moment with synth stabs and blissful ambience. B2, a meditation on love, this track has a far out, trippy vibe that can take you into another dimension.
