NYTA hails not from the Big Apple, but from Bristol. His real name is Mensah Anderson, but you probably know him simply as Mensah, He first adopted the New York Transit Authority name for a split 12″ release with Conqueror on Redlight’s Lobster Boy label last year. His side, a slinky, 808 house number entitled ‘Off The Traxx’, was caned by DJs like Loefah and Pearson Sound, and deservedly found its way into FACT’s 50 best tracks of 2012. LOB005 is another Vinyl release with featuring two V.I.P mixes of of ‘Off The Traxx’ and Conqueror VIP
