"Wendy Gondeln is one of the operating handles of the great German sound/visual artist Albert Oehlen. Luke Calzonetti aka Run Dust is a New York musician who has been living in Germany lately, although I’m not sure where he’s based right at the moment. This wonderful instrumental single, seemingly dedicated to the late great Tony C, features one side of drums, hand-sawed violin, electronics and lots of compressed atmosphere. The flip is like a wild dub version of some television cop show theme. Not as nutty as some Meeuw releases, but really good nontheless.
