Excellent third release on the essential ï¿½Supafrico Recordsï¿½ featuring four Afro flavoured grooves dug deep from the vaults. Check!First up we have a previously unreleased extended version of ï¿½Hot Black ï¿½Nï¿½ Sweetï¿½ by Nigerian funkster Kio Amachree. Taken from the ï¿½ber-rare 1981 ï¿½Ivoryï¿½ LP. Number two comes in the form of ï¿½Slow Downï¿½ from the hugely sought after 1981 ï¿½Grillï¿½ album by Amas. On the flip, we have the full 10 minute version of the ultra rare ï¿½Sabi (Get Down)ï¿½ from Ghanaian master drummer, Okyerema Asante. Finally, Time Will Tell is a deeply undulating Afro funk disco gem from the 7-piece outfit Ice who were also known as the Lafayette Rock Band.
