Klaus Weiss, who passed away in 2008, was one of the most outstanding German jazz drummers. He started his professional career at the age of 16 as a member of the Jazzopators. During the 1960s he worked with Klaus Doldinger, Dusko Goykovic and Erwin Lehn, to name a few. In the late '60s and early '70s he became increasingly active as a studio musician.
