Headspace will be celebrating its 17th release in April with its first artist album, courtesy of Scottish techno stalwart Vince Watson. Vince has been producing his highly personal brand of techno since the mid-90s, making his debut on Dave Angels Rotation imprint and going on to record for many of the worlds biggest techno and house labels: Alola, Ibadan, Soma, Pure Plastic, Primate, Immigrant, Native and his own Bio label off course. 'Sublimina' is his third full-length album - following Biologique on Alola and Moments In Time on Ibadan - and features 15 tracks of deep and soulful machine music, from shimmering dancefloor tracks to more reflective grooves, all laced with Vince's distinctive ear for melancholy harmony and intricate rhythm. The vinyl version is designed for DJ-friendly access to the albums more club-oriented material, while still displaying the full range of styles and moods. Designed to work as a complete listening experience, the CD version of the album features interludes and reworkings, plus material previously released only on the Lost Episodes 12 on Headspace in 2004.
