Trippy techno release by Swedish rising star Van Rivers...Van Rivers worked as producer on the debut-album of Fever Ray (Karin Dreijer from The Knife) and also tours with her live band. His previous releases on Stockholm LTD and Islands & Islets got big support from Marcel Dettman, Josh Wink, Ryan Elliot, Joey Beltram and this release will surely follow. Stretched Out On Pavement is a deep, punchy and trippy techno piece for the floor as well as the mind, like you may expect from a SD Records release. The Nukubus Remix on the b-side takes everything into the pumping techno/electro arena with a soulful, spacey edge to it. Both mixes are spot-on and will rock many floors.
