Silver Linings sees Mr. Badge himself teaming up with Melbourne-based vocalists Ale Chambers and Francoise and the results are two sublime takes on UK Soul and Boogie. If you are a fan of Badge's work as part of Nite Class and collabs with fellow funkateer Inkswel, you will be all over the Silver Linings project like a donkey on a waffle. There's a neat interchange between the detuned synths and slick boogie groove on lead track "Sleepless" which is the perfect backing to the vocals from Ale Chambers and Francoise. Those seeking some instrumental heat can bask in the B Side cut "Chemical Attraction" which is heavy and hard hitting electro funk powered by the TR-707.
