Description

A long time ago, two best friends from Chicago fell deep into the city's house scene, got busy with some analog gear, and christened themselves Shifty Science. They released a couple of tracks to some acclaim, and then quickly fell into obscurity and quit releasing their music. Nearly 20 years later, they're back, trading mixes with ambio-star Brock Van Wey under his Bvdub monicker. "Same Boat, Different Sea" has an euphoric dubbed out chordy house vibe, while "Love's Not Fading" is very house, which is not something Mr Van Wey is known for, adding vocal snippets and the wispy synth tones found in his ambient work.
