Description

Remain in Light, their last album to be produced by Brian Eno, was recorded between Compass Point Studios in the Bahamas and Sigma Sound Studios in Philadelphia. Breaking an initial writer's block, Byrne found new inspiration in early rap and academic literature on Africa and took on a stream-of-consciousness lyrical style. It's an intense and timeless album of rhythmic and sonic invention, melting multiple genres into Talking Heads' unique sound, and one of their greatest achievements.
