Going Good's 8th release comes from a true unsung, underground hero of the Australian electronic music sub-strata. A 6 track EP of unheard, unreleased archival tracks taken from Ewan "Red Ember" Jansen's vast DAT collection spanning the period 1999 - 2004.The Red Ember story is fascinating, a true DIY operation releasing the deepest House and techno sounds on super limited lathe cut discs throughout the nineties and early noughties. Ewans heritage as a producer runs deep with him catching the attention of various Detroit and US based labels with his own melodic, unique take on House/Techno leading to releases that today that still sound super-fresh and are highly sought after. "Lost Embers" runs the line from sparse, lo-fi hypnotic House, to downer Ambient to epic, true school Detroit laced Techno.
