Fresh from his triumphant return to Detroit's Movement Festival, Claude Young teams up with his Different World co-hort Takasi Nakajima for their debut release on ART.The original is no-nonsense but thoughtful future-tech, with plenty of analog modulations for the heads - and dance-floor thump for the party people. On the flip, the legendary Ian O'Brien delivers a typically deep, Detroit tinged remix with trademark warm bass and glistening top lines. Ian planned to do one more mix-down of his remix when the huge earthquake earlier this year pretty much demolished his Tokyo-based studio.
