The first single from the mysterious "Satisfaction" album that was never released. 200 copies WW only!!
After departing from Salsoul Steve Washington (Slave, George Clinton, Civil Attack) reformed Aurra with Sheila Brody aka Sheila Washington (Brides Of Funkenstein, Civil Attack, George Clinton) and Mark Stevens (Taka Boom, Chaka Khan.) Sessions began in 1984 with plans for release on Quincy Jones' newly formed Qwest Records. The album was never released due to legal problems. Family Groove found the 24-track Master Tapes in an abandoned recording studio in Columbus, Ohio and brought the album home to Steve & Sheila where it belongs.
The first single from a full-length album due out this summer, mixed on an SSL board using all vintage analog gear to preserve the integrity of the original recording. 'Satisfaction' is a unique blend of Funk, Boogie, Electro & R&B which captures Steve Washington's sharp production skills along with Sheila's timeless songwriting.
