German duo P.B.K. get a couple of their original jams reworked by two different emergent producers seeking to impart a smooth, finely balanced vision of drum & bass. First up, Seba takes on "Living On A Membrane" and heads straight into liquid territory with a plethora of laconic keys and deep, pulsing pads. It's as dreamy as it gets in the D&B world. "Moonflower" on the B-side gets taken care of by Deep Blue, who equally favours a mellow atmosphere but injects a sharper edge with the crack of the snare that anchors this floaty, vocal-peppered track.
