Description

Follow up EP to FCL's succesful 'Vocals For Everyone' EP. Three house tracks followed by a more balearic remix by Arto Mwambe!Much has been said about FCL’s debut E.P. ‘Vocals For Everyone’ since it was released almost two years ago. It doesn’t even seem like two years ago, because the tracks ‘Let’s Go’ and ‘More Than Seven’ are still as new as they were the day the were released, and they are still being played, charted and discovered at this very moment, a testament to the timelessness of FCL’s take on house music. A number of remixes and recent individual track releases on Delusions Of Grandeur and the We Play House/Lany Recordings Summer Special have made sure the name FCL has stayed top-of-mind for countless house music afficionados around the world, and this follow-up full E.P. should add even more icing to that cake. Vocalist Lady Linn was once again the perfect conduit for the sounds and lyrics of FCL, with ‘Used To Be’ taking things deep and melodic for a ‘love lost’-anthem that will touch even the hardest of love criminals. Classic vocal house and a piece of modern dance music that will appeal to a very wide audience. The mandatory instrumental is there so Red D can play the vinyl when performing with Lady Linn…because why would you otherwise want to play the instrumental version when the vocals are that good?! On the flipside we find ‘Back’, aimed straight at the dancefloor and vintage WPH/FCL/San Soda material. Beware that on this E.P. you’ll find the instrumental version of ‘Back’, the vocal version being saved for the upcoming FCL album further into 2012. Closing things of are Arto Mwambe - personal favourites of Red D – who provide a killer house meets balearic take on ‘Back’, Nu Groove emo-flutes included!
