MINDSTATE by PETE PHILLY & PERQUISITE

Pete Philly & Perquisite joined forces in the autumn of 2002. Their eclectic merge of hiphop, jazz and soul with influences that range from 60s psychedelica to even classical music immediately caused a stir in the flourishing underground hip-hop scene. This resulted in performances alongside The Roots, Dizzee Rascal and Black Eyed Peas, plus critical acclaim by Talib Kweli who declared that Pete Philly & Perquisite are musically (...) light years ahead of the game.
