With the release of 'Mazturbation Tool', Dutch turntablism collective 'Wax Wankerz' is finally able to drop its own vinyl. 'Mazturbation Tool' is not an ordinary tool, it's a battle tool. Made by scratchers, and to be used by scratchers.
This record is not stuffed with ordinary scratching samples like 'Aaahh..Fresh', 'Come On! Yeah!' Yo!!' but has variation and melody. That means funky acoustic licks from instruments like flute, sitar, contrabass and guitar, synthetic deep basses and voice-samples that can cause serious psychological damage to an opponent. This plus Kypski's deep funk, electro and hip-hop beats, and must-have scratch record is born.
What makes this release extra special is the use of so-called 'clocktaves', a notescale ranging from 1 to 4 octaves to be used for melodic solos or simple hooks.
