Description
"Both of us are fascinated with the feeling space, in all its ambiguity, and how Art can directly communicate where words fall short. Like all Art, Music is about making feelings happen. Art is able to trigger feelings, or feeling mixtures, that have never previously existed. In this way, a piece of Art can become the 'mother' for a type of feeling."
Brian Eno & Beatie Wolfe
Brian Eno is a legendary musician, producer, visual artist and activist. He first gained international fame in the early 1970s as the founder of the British band Roxy Music. This was followed by a series of solo albums, collaborations and production work with artists including David Bowie, Talking Heads, Devo, U2, Coldplay, his brother Roger Eno and most recently, fred again...
Beatie Wolfe is a Los Angeles-based, British-American conceptual artist, activist and "musical weirdo and visionary" (Vice).
The artists are united by their mutual dedication to art and the environment, and have collaborated on the albums Luminal and Lateral. Recorded in London and centred around the concept of "Art and feelings", each album features original music and spans a range of genres and styles. The cover art is taken from a series of etchings by Brian Eno.
