Evolution was launched at a time when only a few like-minded people were releasing music. Labels such as Art, Rephlex, Eevolute, and artists such as B12, Aphex Twin, Black Dog and Autechre. The music was all basically inspired by Detroit and together started the first wave of Electronica (as it was later termed). Classic!!
