Two great tracks available back to back on this 45 !'Hotel Alyssa-Sousse, Tunisia' is taken from percussionist Sabu Martinez' 'Afro Temple' LP; an all-time classic Latin record, seminal infact, originals of which used to change hands for as much as $3000. On the flip, Beny More's 'Babarabati' was written by Antar Daly and released in the early 1950's on a 78/10" on RCA. More was a master of Cuban music and is regarded as one of the greats. He worked with Perez Prez Prado and led orchestra's, recording multiple albums for RCA. Many versions of the track have been recorded including interpretations by Tito Puente, Quantic, Fania All Stars, Machito and More himself.
