Description
2 Tracks from Noam Kamal that are also reworked on this EP. Check!Naom Kamal shares his private framework, of which all elements are detained in a contiguous structure that breathes dynamics, emotions and futurebound interpretations. His minimalistic approach, resonating imagination and manifested intelligence in 'Phaela' and 'ATM' form the forefront of his inaugural Liquorish record. His conscious awareness of “life beyond its own subjective limits” challenges any audial boundaries currently touched on. His “uncompromising attitude towards conceptual and minimalistic music” can be found deeply inside the tracks very vibration.
The prominent, female producer Jlin adapts her sample-based rework of 'Phaela' with a spatial structure that completely fits Kamal's outlook on music. It holds the essence of her own footwork interpretation, while pushing some of Kamal's essential samples into the limelight. The jump-up extractions implemented make way for a less tarnished stereo image, driving up energy levels steadily. From the tasty whistles, peculiar pitch tones to subtle percussive alterations - Planet Mu's Jlin definitely moves into touching footwork enthusiasts with essential carnival flavours.
