Description

A compilation of rare archival recordings from the celebrated Ethiopian pianist and composer Emahoy Tsege-Mariam Gebru, released to mark her ninety-ninth birthday in December 2022. Falling somewhere between 20th century classical music, liturgical music and traditional Ethiopian folk, the material here dates from between the Seventies and the 2020s.
