A1: Himbot Dj Bone has always been fascinated by the robotic nature of machines and tried to imagine what human/robot hybrid would sound like and what type of music he would make. Robotic funk at its best here! More human than robot is the key. A2: Scully An Electro beat rides on; occasionally interrupted by Scully’s train of thought…then back to the jam B1: Himbot 2.0 This is more straightforward for the dance floor, almost like a “dance or else” challenge. Driving rhythms in this track make for a very intense dance floor experience. B2: Fortress of Solitude A picture of one of DJ Bone’s nighttime drives through Detroit. Aggressive mid range tones come across as less threatening but the bass line is what gives it that funk.
