After much acclaimed releases on Ferox, Archive & Delsin, FBA returns on UK based Emoticon label, to which he already contributed a track on the first Emoticon sampler. Four diverse tracks are on show, displaying a range of moods. From the atmospheric Head Ways with its broken beats, dark chords and dramatic build and drops keeping the listener hooked as the track progresses to the rolling downtempo groove of Earth Message. On side B things pick up a gear with the edgy cut-up beats and harmonies of Flood Lights followed by the haunting FBA Theme, a classic deep techno dripping with soul.
