Kindred Spirits is proud to present the debut release of Heavy, the new soul sensation from NYC. Nicky Guiland & Casey Benjamin, aka Heavy, are a fresh vibrant duo, producing a sound that can be described as the soundtrack to the new urban life. A clever mix of soul and rock, the two rely on their musical pasts to spice up their current, edgy sound. Besides being gifted producers/vocalists/instrumentalists, they are also talented songwriters, which truly reflects in their songs. 'Wonderlove' is an ode to Minnie Ripperton and the whole Charles Stepny and the Rotary Connection period. A lot of interest is shown in this new band, including Star Trek as well as other US Majors.
