Americhord’s 2004 'Enter EP' get a double reworking by two producers: Dan Curtin and Mark Broom. Ohio's Dan Curtin (Metamorphic Records) delivers two diverse interpretations of 'Tighter My Grip'. His first 'Track mix' is more in keeping with his recent stripped down productions on Tuning Spork, with a sharply produced linear reworking which focuses in on the original track's vocals and shimmering synth riff. His second 'String' mix sees him turn in another of his signature Techno-Funk classics. Mark Broom rearranges 'Phoenix' into two pulsating 4/4 grooves, with the originals haunting string line riding on top throughout both. Again, as with recent D1 releases, this is strictly limited vinyl run of 300.
