A seminal release from Pharaoh Sanders recorded in 1973 for Impulse! Records. At this point the Impulse! label was in a renaissance with Pharaoh Sanders, Alice Coltrane, Michael White, Sam Rivers, Marion Brown and other jazz greats all recording for the label - many of these artists having an association with John Coltrane in the 1960s - none less than saxophonist Pharaoh Sanders who had played in both the groups of John Coltrane and Alice Coltrane.
