A trio of tracks from the vast archives of Salford's own Sonic Insomniac, Mr D.Ball.Although previously unheard, these tracks evoke instant feelings of nostalgia and reminiscence. As always Dave exhibits his effortless knack for combining emotive melodies with liquid basslines and refined percussive rhythms. From the majestic electric piano and live strings of title track 'Elements', to the graceful, wandering synth lead and growling bass of 'Doreen' through to the epic 13 minute B-side 'Healer' with its subtle chord progressions and sumptuous live bass crescendo. Timeless, sentimental music that will appeal as much to lovers of classic Techno such as Underground Resistance or Mayday as much as it will to fans of Ash Ra Tempel or Jean Luc Ponty. All tracks recorded in Salford between 2002-2006, extracted from minidisc 2015.
