Description
Preceding the impending release of Charles Maniers full length double LP Nation have put together this killer 3 track 12 of exclusive tracks to wet your appetites.
These songs will never be released anywhere else. 200 copies only. TIP!While featuring a live version of 'Waiting for Electrocution' from the forthcoming LP, the 'Electrocution' EP is much more than a preview. We witness a rough and wild take on the song with its fatalist lyrics subjugating listeners to a sweltering, dirty march.
On the second track, 'Sift through Art Collecting People', Manier deplores the insincerity in art culture and art as a commodity. Lunging, distorted guitar tones dive into a cavernous landscape penetrating the dense, bustling hive of rhythm.
The last track, 'Bopside', is also the EPs lengthiest.
CH-BB's influence is loud in much of Manier's music but this time he offers an authentic homage. With the track's length, Manier imagines what CH-BB may have
sounded like in an extended, long playing, dance 12" manifestation. Manier's pulse is laced with an ever-changing unpredictable funk.
Electrocution is a crucial release that will surely inspire a need to hear more which, thankfully, happens soon on 'Kode' mother-label, Nation
