No Sleeve No RepressStepping up for the first release is an artist we know only as ‘Junior’, on ‘ drums, poems and small instruments’ as the introduction to the lead track tells us. ‘Junior Love’ is an exercise in dance-floor tension, with a looped ``Ω`latin breakdown teasing for almost too long, before building to the point of climax and then letting it slip away. Tantalising. Dangerous On the B side we are treated to a high intensity afro-brasillian drum freakout before moving to something different all together, in the form of ‘Ohh, Junior!’, a floating, lysergic mantra, which gently fizzes with psychedelic tribal energy.
