We Control The Beat The lead track on this EP, "We Control the Beat", is a highly distinctive fusion of darkly atmospheric Detroit strings and an effected female vocal that repeats "Music Control, it's the Beat We Control", underlain by a pattern of kicks and heavy toms with slight tribal elements to its rhythm, and that is reminiscent of old-school house. A2. Ghosts of Slaves "Ghosts of Slaves" opens with a simple piano melody and a skipping clap and kick pattern and as it progresses an insistent piano-riff that is layered underneath these original elements gives the track a sense of urgency which is balanced by ethereal Detroit synths that appeal to the "Ghosts" of the title. B1. Runwitit B2. Runwitit v2 The two versions of "Runwitit" are both driving yet very funky techno tracks with a constant rhythm and vocal stab driving this track
