DIGIDESIGN - OM UNIT'S POP LOCK MIX by JOKER

Arguably one of the top ranking dubstep / bass music releases of the past 12 months, and undeniably one of the most widely loved and heavily played, Joker’s epic synth track ‘Digidesign’ now gets the rework treatment from Om Unit, ramping up the rhythms and hitting the hard-bap pedal with extra weight to create a wobbling headnodder fix with a touch of off-centre (un)balance.This remix has been doing the rounds since late summer with support from the likes of Mark Pritchard aka Harmonic 313, Plastician, Jamie Vex’d (Planet Mu/Hotflush), Alexander Nut (Rinse/Eglo), and Joker himself. Om Unit is a new production moniker of Jim "2tall" Coles, a London based DJ and producer who has been active in the hip hop and electronic scene for several years. Other forthcoming releases under the Om Unit name include a 7" on All City and a 12" on Plastician’s Terrorhythm label. Issued with the full blessing of Joker and Hyperdub, this one-sided white label pressing will only be in print for a limited period!
