Anthem alert, digging deep into the box marked "Detroit"! Polartronics aka legendary producer and DJ extraordinaire Terrence Parker delivers this almighty grooving kalimba led cut from 1993 on KMS offshoot Trance Fusion.The vocal mix on side A is a blend of whip-crack percussion sounds, whispered and spoken vocals and deeeep pads, a mixture of winding, melodic sounds that are a little more insistent than the languid instrumental take over on the B-side that somehow retains the mystical spirit of the previous mix but at 20,000 feet below sea level. As the EP title suggests, this is "The Deep" indeed. Absolutely killer stuff from the D here, with TP in full effect, do not miss out on this one!
