Cray76, Joakim's dance project, is back with a 2-track EP.On the A-side, this is what we would call a banger here at Crowdspacer. Simple, stupid, raw, funky. Is it a tribute to New York? Not sure but the B side certainly is. To be more precise it's a tribute to Merce Cunningham, the legendary choreographer, close collaborator of John Cage and genius thinker who inspired the name of the label. Based on a recorded lecture by Merce, the eponymous track is a slow, hypnotic and organic house groove, an ode to movement and NY avant garde, because "...Dancing is a visible action of life."
