‘Cookies’ has been a long-time funk/breaks favourite, and is one of the original ‘Ultimate Breaks & Beats’ classics, having been sampled many times in hip hop (by Ultramagnetic M.Cs, for example). The original 7” has always been extremely hard to track down, and is reproduced here exactly, complete with silver-backed Leo Mini artwork. Even if you’re familiar with this track, however, it’s essential to check the previously neglected B-side ‘Do It Good’, which is a deep funk monster! Collectors, breaks fiends and funk-fans should not miss this!
