After his recent album on Still Music, (which included various singles and remixes from the likes of Jazzanova, Mad Mike Banks, Osunlade, to name a few) Randolph drops this deep single recorded together with the Upperground Orchestra (Morphine, Italy). Collide is a jam of soulful black jazz chords and deep hypnotic grooves, melted down to cross between downtempo and deep house, . flipped by a breathtaking and deep floating remix by Randolph's long time collaborator and friend, Neroli's "Isoul8" aka volcov. A well known bass player and producer, Randolph is also considered one of Detroit's most prodigious vocalists - working with some of the greats from his hometown Detroit, like Moodymann, Recloose, Innerzone Orchestra (he sung on the excellent "People Make The World Go Round") KMS and John Arnold.
