Impossible Ark is a new Jazz British label, loosely based around the Nostalgia 77 Octet. The label is the brainchild of Nostalgia 77s Ben Lamdin and bassist Riaan Vosloo and is set up as an outlet for individual projects and collaborations from band members and fellow musicians.The Plumstead Radical Club is a project from Trombone player Trevor Mires, who has worked with Mathew Herbert and Carleen Anderson, as well as touring with legendary jazz musician Sam Rivers. This album has a strong Soul / Jazz sound, with exceptional playing from the quartet of Trevor Mires, Riaan Vosloo, Graham Fox and Ross Stanley.
