BadBadNotGood (abbreviated as BBNG) is a post-bop, instrumental hip hop jazz trio from Toronto, Ontario. The group includes Matthew Tavares on keys, Chester Hansen on bass, and Alexander Sowinski on drums. The trio is known for their interpretations of hip hop tracks and their collaborations with Tyler, The Creator and Frank Ocean. Check!The instrumental outfit have been known to reinterpret hip-hop hits and recently have even collaborated with the likes of Frank Ocean, Earl Sweatshirt, Tyler, The Creator, DOOM, Danny Brown and Ghostface Killah. Unsurprisingly, hip-hop also informs the group’s own original compositions.
