Originally released back in 1980, Richie’s version was rediscovered later by the early Balearic DJs and became an anthem on that scene. Also included are Richie’s incredible versions of classics like Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Dreams’, The Doobie Brothers’ ‘Long Train Running’ and his beautifully lush take on The Beatles’ ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’ as well as the gorgeous sun-kissed vibe of ‘Gay Cavalier’, a captivating duet with Pino Daniele taken from Havens’ 1983 LP ‘Common Ground’.
