Irish dj/producer Conor Rogan delivers this impressive well rounded package. The title track "78'", is an infectious, hypnotic number with its roots firmly grounded in the golden era of funk and soul. Expect mayhem at the disco when the groove kicks in towards the end where the slapped bass, chopped guitar, and flute take the track to another level. On 'Channels' Rogan shows his deep techno influences by weaving layers of rhodes chords in and out of the mix. 'Soulville' is a stripped down percussion driven house workout, while "Option" completes the journey.
