The comeback from legendary philly guitarist Monnette Sudler on Parisian Jazz hub, Heavenly Sweetness.Four year after her acclaimed album in the « Philly Jazz » serie (Isma’a / Discograph), Monnette recorded in Paris with top parisian musicians (John Betsch, Peter Giron, Davide Neerman…). Monnette bring the listener to a journey in « great black music » from the cover of classic such « Infant Eyes » (Doug Carn), « Use me » (Bill Withers) to her folk - jazz composition, with sometimes an african vibes. A radiant and sensitive album.
